Enjoy free reindeer rides again this Christmas at Ki Niseko.

The Christmas tree is up in our lobby, the reindeer are getting ready and the snow is falling outside creating a beautiful Christmas winter wonderland here at Ki Niseko.

Enjoy a spectacular fireworks show after dinner on Christmas Eve on Saturday 24th, December, launching from the Niseko Grand Hirafu slopes near Grand Hirafu's .Base. The colourful display will light up the Niseko night sky from 9:10pm - 9:30pm and will be a delight for the whole family!

Reindeer Rides & Santa Visits

Ki Niseko will once again host free reindeer rides this Christmas. The reindeer will be at the hotel on Christmas Eve on Saturday 24th, December and Christmas Day on Sunday 25th, December, between 10am and 4pm. Enjoy a ride on the reindeer sled with a fantastic family photo opportunity! Live music will then follow from 4pm-6pm on both days as a great way to unwind and get in the festive spirit. Plus, Santa will visit the Ki Niseko lobby on December 25th from 4pm for festive fun and photos!

New Year's Sake Celebration (Kagamiwari)

Traditional Japanese ceremony known as kagamiwari.

Celebrate the new year with a traditional sake ceremony known as "kagamiwari" at Ki Niseko on New Year's Day on Sunday 1st, January 2017. At the ceremony, the wooden lid of the traditional sake barrel (kagami) is broken (wari) or opened (biraki), by one or more wooden hammers. We'll also be giving away 50 limited edition Ki Niseko sake cups on the day in celebration! The ceremony will take place at 4:30pm - 5:00pm in the hotel lobby, followed by traditional Japanese drumming.

Plus, don't forget we have daily music to enjoy in the Ki Niseko lobby to get you in the holiday mood. Relax and unwind after your day on the slopes with our music and events this December.
