The Mezame exhibition, which translates to "Awakening" in English, by the talented artist Yoriko Okumura, is set to be showcased once again. Previously exhibited at Ki gallery in the 2021 season, this limited-time display will be available for viewing during this year's highly anticipated Golden Week holiday from Saturday 29 April - Friday 5 May 2023.
About the artist
Born in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, Okumura relocated to Niseko during the summer of 2015. From 2016 to March 2019, she was actively involved in the Niseko Town Regional Revitalization Corps, contributing to the growth and development of the local community.
Currently, Okumura resides in Niseko Town and remains dedicated to her creative pursuits. She draws inspiration from her conversations with nature, embarking on exciting adventures that fuel her passion for artistic expression.
