"Hope" is Yuichi Hasegawa's fourth solo exhibition at Ki Gallery, following on from "Life in Colour" (2019), "Corridor of Memories" (2021) and most recently "Aura" (2023). Hasegawa's artistic process draws inspiration from his surroundings and personal connection with the Niseko region.

A message from the artist

"I hold hope. Hope is 'inori.' Hope resides in the future. Hope. This artwork was crafted using motifs such as stars, birds, and seeds. The amalgamation of that specific place, moment, and contemplations resulted in the birth of this creation. My aspiration is that through my art, I've managed to resonate with the essence of hope within each of you who views it."
